Hi, I'm Sorin, a Naarm-based writer, animator and illustrator, recently graduated from The University of Melbourne's Victorian College of the Arts (VCA). I often explore themes of surrealist horror and fantasy within my filmic and illustrative artworks, focusing on evocative visuals in order to create harsh and emotionally impactful narratives, whilst bringing vibrant imagery to life. My animation and generative works have been exhibited at the Grainger Museum, Gertrude Street Projection Festival, Federation Square, and the Science Gallery, ranging from experimental pieces programmed in TouchDesigner, to digital, hand-drawn expressive artworks, and moving images.
